The Global Racers Cup, abbreviated as GRC, is a cross-market storytelling series developed by Disney and Mattel. It was announced during the toy company's March 2024 Virtual Investor Presentation,[1] and will be featured across multiple different product lines in the Mattel Disney Pixar Cars toy brand, including the 2024 mainline and Mini Racers series.
The series sees Lightning McQueen host a racing invitational in Radiator Springs, to which he invites many of his international friends and rivals,[2] including his fellow World Grand Prix alumni as well as Cruz Ramirez and Jackson Storm; this marks the first series to bring together McQueen's main opponents from Cars 2 and Cars 3. Official copyright filings describe it as a "World Grand Prix" redux.[citation needed]

Mattel
Unlike previous cross-market series like Glow Racers, the GRC does not have its own die-cast assortment, instead being featured as a brand-new segment in the 2024 mainline; the singles and 2-packs are packed alongside standard Cars releases. The theme will be continuing into both the 2025 Mainline and Mini Racers series.
