2025 is the twentieth and current mainline series of die-cast Mattel Disney Pixar Cars vehicles. This iteration continues the red-hued desert and stadium style series, the fourth to do so following the 2022, 2023 and 2024 lineups. The cardbacks themselves are identical to their 2024 predecessors, with the exception of the assortment code listed near the cardboard peg cut, which now reads "DXV29/HHV86" (matching what was previously on the back) instead of just "DXV29" or "HHV86." The series also continues the GRC segment introduced in 2024, along with the now traditional Cars, Cars 2, Cars 3, Cars on the Road and Cars Toon, for characters from each respective franchise entry.

As of May 2025, the current shipping assortment is Case U.

History

The first batch of supplier images were revealed by YouTube channel and business Diecast Insider on July 10, 2024. There are 21 new releases, with one from Cars one from Cars on the Road) were and the rest are from a new expanded universe series, Race & Rescue. This series contains the notable rereleases and new Thailand production variants of Ernie Gearson, Ryan Shields, Eugene Carbureski, Acer, Grem, Lightning McQueen with Shovel and My Name Is Not Chuck with Cart, making their first appearances since 2016 and 2015, respectively. Observable release grouping includes the final race pit crew from Cars, debuting Thailand versions of Pit Crew Sarge and Lightning Ramone – as well as Piston Cup spectators Jay W. and Christina Wheeland, both originally re-casted seemingly for a scrapped fan-themed 2020 Mainline segment series that was excluded from the final lineup. This year includes the first ever mainline single release of Floyd Mulvihill.

An all-new Race & Rescue segment was introduced, featuring rescue vehicle themed variations of some Radiator Springs residents and multiple rally race themed racers.
